Info

This is a place to disagree on purpose.

Sit down with someone. Read something older than the news cycle. Argue in writing. Message the people you want to keep.

    The fun of debating

Find a conversation. Open discussion or structured debate. You sit down with someone who is not already you. Talk before Ready. Ready starts the clock. Rematch if you want another round. The point is not a clip. It is finding out, in real time, where you actually stand. Disagreement is the useful part.

  2. 02

    Live

If both people agree, a call can be listed so other people can watch. Watching is not the same as sitting down. You can still go find your own chair. A microphone is required to talk. The camera is optional. Leaving asks you to confirm so a conversation does not end by accident.

    Archives

Paine, Madison, Thoreau, Douglass, Lincoln. Public-domain political writing. Read them, then argue about them. The Forum also has current essays. The Archive is the older argument, still running. Learning here is not a lecture. It is having something worth disagreeing over.

    Common Room

Written threads. Separate from the call. Reply, like, star a room if you want it at the top of your list. This is the slower version of the same fight. Keep it under 300 words. You need an account to post.

    Messages

Once you have an account, you can message people you actually want to keep talking to. Friends, not a comment pile. The envelope on the rail is that inbox.
